Frer not progressing

Hi! I have a history of miscarriage and am 12 days post 5 day embryo transfer. I got a good positive test but now the tests seem a little fainter and just staying the same, not getting darker. I am suspecting a chemical pregnancy. Has anyone had this before and gone on to have success? Feeling confused. I’ve attached a photo. Thank you x

Are they 8dpo to 12dpo from top to bottom? x

Yes from top to bottom, but it’s 8dp5dt as it was an ivf cycle

Can you ask your clinic to do HCG bloods given the lines aren’t getting darker? Sorry you’re going through this xx

Hi @An270787 sorry you are going through this :( I was wondering though, did your protocol include any hgc shots at the time of the transfer? If you did, this would probably still be showing up on the 8dpt test you did and making it darker than it otherwise would have been.

If you did have an hcg shot it would have cleared by 12 days, so you are definately pregnant, but could explain why the tests aren't getting darker properly. When did your clinic tell you to start testing from?

Agree with pp the best thing to do is to ask your clinic to do bloods 48h apart to see if the hcg is going up as it should.

Not IVF, but these were my tests at 11dpo and 14dpo. The 14dpo was actually a bit lighter and I was convinced it was a loss. My 7 week old is currently fast asleep on my chest. I understand the temptation to keep testing but honestly it absolutely doesn’t help, these tests caused me so much anxiety, I wish I hadn’t kept testing

How are you getting on? Have you retested / had HCG bloods done? xx
