Pram delay

Hi

Has anyone had any experience with winstanleys pram world?
My pram was supposed to come last week at the latest and has been delayed a further 3 weeks, I'm due end of January and I'm getting very stressed about it not coming incase they delay it again!
I ordered online after visiting in store - as they didn't have the colour I wanted and they said it would arrive in plenty of time.
They said there's nothing they can do and don't offer any discount as it's not their fault it's the supplier - just seems like a long delay and wondered if anyone has had any experience with anything similar and got any advice?
Worrying I should just cancel it and go and buy one ready to take home now!

I don’t have experience with the company or a pram arriving late, but having had a baby earlier this year you might find that you don’t necessarily need the pram for a couple of weeks after baby is born anyway. Depending on how birth goes you might find walking too uncomfortable for a little while, and with the cold and wet weather at this time of year you also may not want to be out too much in the early days.
If your pram doesn’t arrive before baby is born and you do want to get out for walks then you could use a baby carrier. Most babies prefer to be snuggled up to you and it’ll help to keep them warm.
Also could check marketplace for anyone selling any second hand prams nearby that you can pick up now. Even if you don’t end up using it yourself you could give it to grandparents for when baby is visiting them.

I haven't ordered a pram with them, but did order some fitted sheets for our bedside crib.

They took over a month to arrive, after me emailing to chase them up.

They also had to change one of the designs I'd ordered as they one they had was damaged.

I wouldn't order with them again, seemed to be ran so bizarrely for a modern day online shopping set up.

I definitely wouldn't risk an order with them with a big purchase like a pram.

Perhaps cancel and wait for the Christmas/January sales, you might find something discounted.

If not, we ordered with John Lewis and after booking an appointment with them we received 15% discount (ranges from 10-15 depending on your spend) so we ordered all our big items (and a few little extras) with them in bulk and saved a small fortune

I had an excellent experience with Winstanleys in 2021, but an appalling experience with Direct4Baby this year so there doesn’t seem to be a decent option available.
