I had an ectopic in January, and fell pregnant again 4 months later. I had a lot of weird cramping and stretching (not quite painful, more uncomfortable from a psychological point of view because I was so worried it was ectopic again) and I swear I could feel pain in the site of where the ectopic had been before.

All was fine at my 6w positioning scan and I'm now 32w :) get on the phone to early pregnancy unit to get a 6w scan booked in so you know how sure, but period type cramps are totally normal in the first few weeks.

I've got a scan booked in Monday, that would be mean I would only be 4 weeks exactly so I'm not sure if they will be able to see anything. Just either the last ectopic I didn't even know I was having one. So I'm worried this time around

I had an ectopic a few years ago. Required the tube being removed. It took over a year to get pregnant again but I'm currently cuddling my toddler to sleep. Wishing you all the best.

I had cramping and pain at 4 weeks pregnant and when scanned in A & E it was a completely normal healthy pregnancy. So this can happen in a normal pregnancy. Anxiety makes this pain and cramping so much worse.

try not to worry, they can also do blood tests as well as scan (so not to worry if they cant see anything)

I had an ectopic pregnancy and then got pregnant a few months later. I felt lots of cramping early on with the second pregnancy but it was mainly centralised and this can be really normal as your uterus starts growing and preparing itself! I also had some one sided cramping but they just felt different to the ones I experienced with the ectopic. All was fine at the 6 week scan and she's now snoozing upstairs. Good luck! X

If it helps, I had the same cramping in all 3 pregnancies (first ectopic, second early miscarriage and I'm now 16 weeks with the third).

It's good you have an early location scan booked. I had one at 5+2 with my second and one at 5+3 with my third and both showed a uterine pregnancy. If they can't see anything at your scan due to how early it is, they should offer follow up scans. Some EPUs do like to scan early, just in case you're a bit further ahead than you think.

I had surgery in January due to ectopic and fell pregnant again in September. They wouldn't scan me until 7 weeks to be sure they could see something, but before that told me to be on the look out for symptoms - bleeding, pain, or shooting pain if you sit down cross-legged- I had that last time.

So if they are scanning u at 4 weeks I wouldn't be surprised if it's too early to tell, keep an eye out if your body is telling u something is wrong xxxx Good luck hun hope this is your time 💗
