Braxton hicks at 16 weeks?

Hello,
Hoping for some reassurance! This is my 3rd pregnancy, 16 weeks now. For the last week or so I have definitely been feeling braxton hicks, no cramping, just that “tight” feeling for less than a minute or so. No pattern to them either.
Has anyone else had experience of this early on? My next appointment isnt for another week or so to ask the midwife.

Yes I've been having these since around 16 weeks also. I'm now 20+4. Haven't seen midwife yet don't see anyone til Jan now but been for my scans and all is fine.

Yeah I had them from about 16 weeks, happened all the time between 16-24 then eased off and rarely get them now 🥰 all is well x

Yes, they're there almost from the beginning but you don't tend to notice them in a first pregnancy.

Nothing to worry about.

So did I, but a lot of women think that BH don't start till the third trimester. I certainly felt them very early on.
