Compact pushchair to use with existing baby car seat

We have two car seats, silvercross simplicity and Joie Juva classic which came with travel systems. We are looking for an inexpensive compact pushchair suitable from newborn that we could use with our existing car seats, or a compact travel system including car seat that doesn’t cost the earth. Would only need to be used when all 5 of us are in the car, so mainly weekends when our eldest will have to sit in the back seat in the boot and therefore limited boot space.
Any recommendations would be greatly received!

Neither of those are universal unfortunately. The Juva can be used with Joie Muze or Mirus, the Simplicity is a Silver Cross only compatability but their website is no use in telling you which it works with. If you pop them a message on social media I expect they can tell you though.

The cheapest travel systems outside of these brands are probably Graco Breaze with the SnugEssentials car seat, or Kinderkraft Apino or Indy with the Mink car seat.

It's a bit tricky to search for combos like this because usually the companies only list their bigger, bulkier, more expensive models with 1000 accessories under travel system bundles. So you end up having to search through brand by brand at their budget/compact strollers and see which are compatible with car seats, then what car seats they work with (only their own brand, or universal?)

The cheapest car seat compatible with a wider range of strollers is currently Joie i-Snug or Cybex Aton S2 (amazon) or Maxi Cosi Cabriofix i-size - these are all about the same price.

Thank you both, I have contacted Joie to check with them and will look into the other travel systems suggested 😊

I would be looking for a bigger car - babies shouldn't be in car seats for long and shouldn't be using them instead of a pram

@Yesiwastalkingtoyou I am aware that they shouldn’t be in a car seat for long, I’m just looking for options to cover all circumstances.
