Is it safe to be at work (in a school) when another staff member has Covid… I’ve had the Covid booster. Just wanted to know what is recommended- I’m 26 weeks pregnant.

Yes I believe it’s still safe to work in the school but I’d keep my distance.

I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and been in school too when Covid’s been particularly bad. I just hand washed a lot and spoke to my head teacher about my worries.

I was pregnant in 2021 when covid was awful. I was able to work from home from 20 weeks but it was due to a high risk pregnancy and a medical condition, other pregnant members of staff remained in school.

You could always check in with your midwife but since you can still work a lot of jobs with covid now, I think they would just tell you to be on the watch out.
