hi all I’m supposed to be 6 weeks 1 day I went for a early ultrasound yesterday ( due to recurrent miscarriage clinic) where they put me me at 5 weeks 1 day they saw the gestational sac and yolk sac but nothing else the sac looked empty to me in all honesty. I’m just really worried this won’t develop further I’m on heparin and aspirin and cylogest, as I have factor v lieden. I’m just wondering if anyone has any similar experiences they can share? Attached is scan report

Hi @Bee111xxxx. I don’t have any advice for you but didn’t want to read and run as I’m in a similar boat. Is there any chance your dates could be a little off? Irregular cycles, later ovulation, later implantation could all throw things off slightly. Also, did they do bloodwork to determine whether your hcg level correlates to the scan findings? It’s still very early days and sight of a yolk sack is a good sign. Hoping for the best for you x

I measured more than a week behind but I do have longer cycles. Is that the case for you? I hope it all works out.

Hi thank you for commenting, there really not worried hence why not taking hcg blood levels they just think it’s too early , the person doing the scan said all looked good fo a early pregnancy I wasn’t just sure I was at least 5 weeks 6 Dayan so there date so could be right just very unsure it’s nerve wrecking lol hopeful for a good outcome for us both xx
