Hi all!

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant and had a scan today due to 2 miscarriages this year. Does this scan look like a typical 11 week scan to you? She did say the baby was moving around a lot and seemed to have their back turned a lot. My son’s was definitely more baby like when we had his 4 years ago. Was just seeing if anyone had similar at all please?

It's just a bad picture. I presume you heard the heartbeat etc.? You'll get a better one for your 12 week NHS scan, I'm sure. It's very natural to worry, so try and hang tight 🙂

So this was a NHS one and she didn’t seem concerned or anything, saw a little heartbeat. I think I’m just worrying because the 9 week one looked like a potato 😂 12 week one is next Wednesday and I’m so impatient I’m debating whether to book a private one lol. X

None of my scans have looked discernibly clear baby-like. Consequently i haven't really shared them round much, and i suspect the ones you see on SM etc are the best pictures. ( Some of mine looked like a black and white lasagne taken through the microwave door. )
I'm now 33w with no complications (after 2 MCs, no kids).
Fingers crossed for you. If there was anything of concern or that needed investigation she would have said.

I showed my son my first scan picture of his sister. 'Oh, you're having a fish!' he said 🤣
