Scanxiety

We have our dating scan on Monday and the closer we get the more worried I am that something is going to go wrong 😭 we've not had any early/private scans so this is the first time we are going to hopefully see bean.

I don't really know what I want from this thread 😂 I don't think it helps that my morning sickness (which started around 7 weeks and worsened around 9/10 weeks) has now been completely masked by my antisickness meds so I'm feeling pretty symptomless.

Anyways, if anyone else is feeling the same, or felt the same, I'd appreciate some company 💕

Bless you. I felt exactly the same following a MC. I also didn't have any private scans - personally I don't see the point as they are only a snapshot in time anyway - but that's just my view. Slightly different in that I've never experienced any of the classic pregnancy symptoms so I really thought something was gonna go wrong!

The best advice I can give you is just try and relax, trust your body and remember nothing is wrong until it's wrong. And even if it is bad news at the scan (I'm sure it won't be) then at least you are in the right place to receive the right care.

Try and keep busy over the weekend. It’s very normal!

Thanks @Strawberry06 and @Plumful for your replies :) I'm getting Christmas ready this weekend, decorating today and present wrapping tomorrow so it's taking my mind off worrying a little :)
