Hi, I tested 9DPO (yesterday) and had quite strong tests for 9DPO (morning and afternoon) I tested as soon as I woke up this morning 10DPO and the tests look lighter. I had a miscarriage a few months ago so I am petrified😭 anyone had the same and had a successful pregnancy. I’ve uploaded images. The last test is yesterdays and the 2 above and clear blues are today. I’m just worried as surely they should get darker not lighter.

things like how diluted urine is and amount of dye in a test can determine how dark lines are.

I’ve attached my photo of my 11dpo and 14dpo tests, my 14dpo was lighter and I really thought I was losing the pregnancy, I currently have my 5 week old snuggled up on me. I totally understand wanting to try and get any reassurance in the early days, but those tests caused me so much unnecessary stress, now I would always advise anyone to stop testing after getting their positive.

@Loveyouroyal yes, same time of day, same brand tests from the same box. I never tested more than once with my first two but this one I decided to use the other test in the box. I thought giving a few days of see a darker line. Sent me spiralling into a mess of anxiety.

Try not to worry, it's so early you really just can't control anything at this point. There will be people who didn't have a line at all at 9dpo and went on to have successful pregnancies, and they'll be those that didn't. I know it's a desperate stage but don't put any stock into these lines at least until you are due on. Mine didn't start getting darker until about 5 days after I was due. It's different for everyone x
