Green staining in knickers

I've woken up to find a slight green stain in my knickers after a full night's sleep (no getting up for a wee). I've seen this happen a few times, usually when I'm at work and haven't gone to loo on shift. There's nothing but normal discharge when I wipe. Should I be concerned?

Are you on iron supplements? Iron supplements make my poo go dark green. There's a chance that could be leaking into your pants...!

No judgement here, I've given up any dignity in this pregnancy, my latest ailment is a horrific haemorrhoid I'm calling Niall (the pile).

Thanks for your reply. Im not on any iron supplements.

Green discharge is a sign of probably a vaginal infection, I’d go to the GP to check it out just in case

OK thank you x

Green discharge is usually an infection so ask your GP or a sex health clinic for full checks.

That said, since childbirth my discharge is always green on days 21-25 and no doctor or sex health clinic can find an infection. So I think it might be hormonal sometimes.

@Ardith I did read that sometimes it can be hormonal. Was tested for sti's before TTC. Was clear. But will phone the drs to get some clarity. Thank you x
