Turning baby - how do I know?

Ok at my last appointment (weds) it was found that my baby had moved to being back to back. I had a back to back labour last time, baby got stuck etc so dont want that again if I can help it!

Now I know the recommended things to try - all fours, hips higher than knees etc BUT what I want some help with is 'knowing' when baby is in an optimum position again, or do I just keep doing all the above and keep my fingers crossed? Im 39 weeks today!

Im also carrying a hell of a lot of water so I dont know if that is making it more difficult for me to make anything out, I also know this can mean that baby will engage later and possibly not until Im in labour - consultant said theres more room for baby to swim about iyswim.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

if you have a ball, try sitting up straight on it and rotating/rocking hips...think it's probably just a case of trying and keeping fingers crossed.

Im sat on it now I guess I'll just perch here for the week and hope for the best!

Thanks
