Hi lovelies!

I am currently 21+6 days pregnant with twins! Been feeling movement since exactly 20+5 days pregnant. These movements have happened every single day since, they seem to happen around the same time everyday, usually afternoon/evening but can feel some whenever I sit down throughout the day. However today I haven’t felt none since 8am this morning. Should I be worried and calling the mcu? I understand they are too small to be forming a pattern yet but for the last week it feels like they have been. I’ve tried everything I can to get them moving but nothing is working. I’ve also had a lot of tightenings these last couple of days (some with pain and some just uncomfortable) the twins will be my 4th&5th babies so I know they are just braxton hicks but I’m just abit nervous.

sorry for such a long post.

Straight to the hospital.

SquashPenguin · 06/12/2023 16:25

Go to the hospital now.

PointyMcguire · 06/12/2023 16:26

Please get it checked. Not to alarm you but there was a similar post not so long ago and the poster sadly lost one of the twins. Always best to be on the safe side with these things.

Isthisrealomgwow · 06/12/2023 16:26

Hospital, right away x

MadeForThis · 06/12/2023 16:34

Any time you aren't happy with the movements go in to get checked. They won't mind.

eeeex · 06/12/2023 16:37

Definitely give triage a call and get them to check you out.

babythreeincoming · 06/12/2023 16:39

Echoing the others, worth a trip to be checked over. It will give you huge peace of mind 🥰 I think if you find yourself writing on here it's a sign you need to get some in person advice. Big hugs xx

Twimum23 · 06/12/2023 21:53

@Littlegemx have you had any movements or been checked out ?

Itsmychristmasdress · 06/12/2023 21:54

Hope all is OK. Always get checked it's better to be reassured. X

janfebmarchapril · 06/12/2023 22:03

I'd get checked too. Hope everything is okay xx

Decafflatteplease · 06/12/2023 22:09

Please don't delay go to the hospital or at very least ring your midwife

idontlikealdi · 06/12/2023 22:11

I hope you're at the hospital, you're placenta might have moved, I hope it's that.

anicecuppateaa · 06/12/2023 22:12

Yes definitely

LittleMissSleepyUK · 06/12/2023 22:16

Hope all is ok

Littlegemx · 06/12/2023 23:53

Thankyou everyone. I rang triage and was seen. Although the midwives were very rude insisting that the twins hadn’t formed their pattern yet(even tho they’ve moved at the same time everyday since 20+5 weeks, I very much understand that they normally haven’t formed a pattern at this gestation was just very out of character for them both) they both have strong healthy heartbeats🩷🩵 and they are both laying transverse facing my back so that’s why I can’t feel them! Again thankyou all for the advice x
