I have an anterior placenta so feeling baby as much as I have, always comes as a surprise.
Anyway, since yesterday evening baby has been having a full on rave in my belly, woke me up a few times, had me on the phone to triage at 1am of whom said at this stage, the pattern is still forming and this could be a sign of a very active baby.

Baby still moving this morning but not as much, I think lack of sleep and general worry has me thinking they’re moving more.

I’ll call triage again if it starts to get worrying again but has anyone had similar? I want a good nights sleep tonight cry

I have an anterior placenta and haven’t felt loads of movement and still don’t have a pattern and I am 29 weeks. I did have a day I think at about 23 weeks when it was like baby was having a rave!!! But it calmed down after that and went back to very little movement and everything was fine. I just presumed she changed position or something and we were at a haven site and the music was really loud so think she was just having a good time 🤣

but if you worry don’t hesitate to ring triage x

I had an anterior placenta with my girl (2 weeks old now) and expected not to feel much movement too but to my surprise she was super active and I felt her a lot. I had a moment of worry when one morning she kicked me 40 times in under 10 minutes, I ended up in the assessment unit as was concerned for excessive movement but all was deemed fine. I was offered a scan the next day and cord and placenta checked, all fine.
The midwives reassured me that we ourselves don’t do the exact same things every day at specific times and it was likely just a burst of energy.
Do call or go in if you’re worried, no harm in checking in on baby and they’ll be more than happy to see you and do necessary checks to reassure you. Hope all is okay and goes smoothly for the rest of your pregnancy
