When did everyone stop bleeding after c section?

Hi everyone, just curious as to how long you bled for after a c section? I’m 17 days post c section and still bleeding (no where near as heavy as it was thankfully)🥲 I had a previous vaginal birth and I’m pretty sure I bled for around 3-4 weeks following that so I’m unsure really how it differs with a c section!

I think I remember being the same length as my natural birth… about 4 weeks.

My c section was actually longer than my VBAC I think! About 4 weeks c section and only about 2 with my vaginal

Mine was extremely short. Maybe a week. Max two. I was surprised. Two planned c sections.

My emergency one was at least 4 weeks I think, and my planned one (2 weeks ago today) is easing up already so think I'll probably be done within the next few days.

About a week. Less than my vaginal birth which was about 3 weeks. I remember the health visitor saying you bleed its less with a c section but i suspect its different for everyone. 17 post c sec is still v early and if its tapering off it sounds normal...

My second child was about 6 weeks. I talked to the doctor as it worried me. But it did stop and that was 5 years ago. Absolutely no ongoing issues. Our bodies all heel differently. Xx

I bled for 2/3 weeks with ds and 11 weeks with dd

5 weeks. If you are still bleeding in a week or so try and cut back on activity a bit. I pushed myself too hard... hence the longer time to heal. Was foolish of me but had a lot going on.

6 weeks each time.

6 weeks with a break of 4 or 5 days between week 4 and 5 which made me think it was over lol

7-8 days for me. Both times.

Well over 8 weeks on and off iirc, no problems , everyone heals at their own pace.

It's nothing to do with Cs or vaginal birth, the bleeding is from the placental wound. I've only had csections and bled for about 3-4 weeks on each.
