Pink when I wiped

I feel sick to my stomach, I went for a pee and wiped and there is pink on the paper. Has anyone had this? I’m 6 weeks tomorrow. Knew it was too good to be true 😞

This happened to me in my second pregnancy a couple of times between 6-14 weeks. My baby is now 10 years old. Please don't lose hope. It could be something, it could be nothing.
Do you have an EPU? Might be worth seeing if they can scan you to put your mind at rest, though I know with it being a Saturday they might not until Monday.
If the blood were bright red I would be more concerned, but a light pink is sometimes less of a concern.
Will keep everything crossed for you and your little bean.

Thank you, no we are quite remote and don’t have that where I live, my tummy feels quite tight too ☹️

No I don’t think so I just wiped again and it’s definitely pink from that area when I wipe 😢

Your maternity unit will have an EPU (early pregnancy unit) but I'm guessing you don't yet have a midwife. You can call a GP and get referred, some places you can self refer so call the hospital to check. All they can do is scan you, and that will only give you a snapshot in time.

It's really hard but there's not really anything you can do. I'm so sorry for the worry. It could be ok, it might not, there's no way to tell.

A couple hours before this I had been really straining on the toilet with constipation could this be a factor?

I had this between 6-10 weeks pregnant and i’m
now nearing my third trimester.

Your local maternity unit will have an Epu. You can phone and check in with them. They might offer a scan or they might ask you to phone if still spotting on Monday. ( that’s what they did with me) They did say to phone again if bleeding got heavier or I was having bad cramps.

More difficultly they asked me to sit and wait it out as there’s sadly nothing they can do other than scan. They said it might be the start of something or it might be nothing. I’m sorry you’re going through this, 🤞 it all works out!

Morning, I’ve had cramping all night 😢😢 and blood when I wipe. I’ll get in touch with my maternity hospital tomorrow. I’m just so heartbroken.

Hey,

I had this just over a week ago but it never got any heavier. I can’t give you any good news as I’m 6 weeks and don’t have my scan until Wednesday so I don’t know if it was ‘nothing’ but I can relate to how heartbroken you feel.

im on cyclogest after recurrent losses and that can help with early bleeding - something to talk to EPU about x

Sorry you are in a similar situation, it’s almost like a period now with cramping. I’m so sad, I had my whole year planned out and now nothing. Wish I knew why these happened. Good luck for next week ♥️
