We bit concerned after a dating scan. According to LMP I am 8 weeks today. Scan today baby measured 7+3. Not concerned with measuring smaller as periods are a little off, so could have ovulated later than I thought. She did mention that she seen a bleed on the scan, what could this be? I never asked many questions now I wish I did, she told me it can be quite normal and that it could be implantation bleeding.
Has anyone else ever had this?
Thanks

I had a scan around the same time and had this thought it was described as a bruise. It was where the embryo implanted and said totally normal and that some people get a small bleed alongside it-I didn’t. Could be this? I would have been 7 weeks as had just recovered from covid so wanted to see all was well

I had a scan a few days later than you and I had a bleed visible. I asked what caused it and she told me it was likely the site of implantation and that I might see some brown blood if I wear a liner for a week or so.

Hello. It could be a small subchrionic hemorrhage. I had this in my pregnancy with my son at about that gestation. Although I had a bit of spotting before I found out what the reason was. So it was all quite scary at the time. But turned out perfectly fine.
You could contact the EPU and ask them to assess it for you
