Is this my ‘bloody show?’ TMI PICTURE

Sorry this is the most gross photo I’ve ever taken but needs must in pregnancy!
im 41 weeks pregnant and fed up. Is this my ‘bloody show’ or just my mucus plug? I feel like people talk about them as separate things??
when did peoples labours start when the whole plug came out like this? Thanks!

I thought the bloody show and the mucus plug were the same thing. Yours looks a lot greener than mine did, mine was clear with a faint pink tinge but then maybe they are 2 different things and this might be the plug! I’ve had 3dc and only recall having a show with my third! Not sure what happened to it all with the first two.

Yes looks like bloody show but with old blood. Good sign somethings happening! I'm a midwife. Everyone is different, some get show and still a bit of wait for labour. I always laboured within 24hrs of show

Might be. I jad Mucas Plug xome away first with a speckle of bright red blood as this means the capillaries in the cervix have been irritated. Then I jad more micas Plug and bloody show and by the end I just had light bleeding/apotting with very little mucas plug. First baby - happened 5days before had LO.

Looks like the mucous plug. Do you have any other symptoms?

No labour symptoms other than more pressure than the last few days, baby has definitely dropped, this is my second and I went to 42 weeks with my 1st! Hoping this is slightly shorter pregnancy 😅

I would say this is your plug. I lost mine at 40+6, 48 hours before labour started. Have you had a sweep? I had 2 in that 48 hours and that's what got it going!

Ooh that looks odd. Mine was clear with an orange blob and streaks of blood through it. Lost about 11pm and contractions woke me up the next day at 11am - 41+1

I agree it looks like the meconium that I had with my first. I had to go in and be put on a monitor

That does look like your plug but like others have said I think it looks a slightly odd colour mine was quite clear x

Mine looked exactly like that. (Like a giant, rubbery booger). I went into labour about two weeks later. (Was due for a c-section two days later but she had other ideas.)

UPDATE- my contractions started an hour after I posted this and I had my beautiful daughter at 11:42 this morning 😭😭❤️
