Hi everyone,

Starting a thread for anyone who wants to join in their 2ww. Classic early tester over here 👋🏼

I think I'm about 8 or 9 dpo, but this cycle is straight after a MMC so not 100% on my dates.

I've had 3 miscarriages previously and one successful pregnancy in-between. Testing early this time as I need medication from the doctor as soon as I get a positive test, want to get it asap to give a little one the best chance of sticking this time!

Anyway I tested this morning using a fret, I could see a vvvvf line. Hard to get a picture at this time of year with the natural light. So I've seen people on here using a negative picture app and taking the test apart so you don't have the reflection from the plastic.

I've loaded the picture, what does anyone think?? It's only very very faint, but I think I can just make out a little line to the right of the control line.

Wishing everyone luck in their 2ww and testing!

Hi there , 2ww friend :) I am 7dpo . I can def see a line! I am feeling completely wiped out and have a dull lower back ache . So either AF coming or I am scared to say! We did a round of IVF and it failed so I am so scared to test. I triggered for ovulation and my ovulation tests are still strong positive, so scared to do a preg test.

Oh I'm pleased someone else can see it! I always spot lines before my husband, so I know it's pointless asking him to check it for me 🤣 I rang the GP today and they actually issued my prescriptions... feeling relieved I've got them as soon as possible if it is a stronger positive in a few days🤞🏼

I've got everything crossed for you! What day are you thinking of testing?

Yes I've been feeling the same, my lower back has been aching. It's so hard not to symptom spot isn't it! I've had soooo many two week waits and they don't get any easier.

Yes took another fret yesterday and the line looked slightly darker - I could get a picture of the line on the negative app without putting the flash on - which I couldn't do with the one above. Ran out of those tests so I did a cheap stick one today, and again could see a vvf line. And even my husband could see it this morning! Not 100% convinced they aren't evaporation lines just yet, so going to keep testing hoping for a nice solid line🤞🏼

Keep me posted when you do test, got everything crossed for you x

I bust it open to get a better look... ive had loads of chemicals this year so not getting my hopes up until a couple of weeks

Rose1411 · 16/12/2023 21:55

Ahhh @praying4babba thanks so much for replying <3 I know its still early and very hard to tell but always feel i need a second opinion as I don't trust my senses anymore. I would manifest a line if i could! 🤣 fingers crossed for you next week! Xxx

KB86 · 17/12/2023 10:23

@Rose1411 I can see a line! Hope it gets stronger for you. I think mine turned out to be a chemical 😔 but still not had AF yet, my hormones are obviously all over the place post miscarriage x

@KB86 im so sorry for your loss xxx i've been there many times and it doesnt get easier. If it helps im seeing a specialist and so far have tried progesterone from a positive test (didnt work) and now luteal phase progesterone (from 3 days after ovulation) which is what ive tried this time round. There are lots of potential causes of chemical pregnancies but one of them can be low progesterone levels. Xx

KB86 · 17/12/2023 10:43

@Rose1411 so sorry for your losses too. I was on progesterone pessaries from positive test as I'd had 2 previous miscarriages before my DS was born (worked for him, but didn't work this time round). Being referred to reoccurring miscarriage clinic but can't get an appointment until April! Xx

@KB86 I've been down this route and under a recurrent miscarriage clinic in coventry (professor quenby at coventry) and can give you some pointers on what to expect if you want. Happy for you to DM me anytime xx

KB86 · 17/12/2023 11:52

@Rose1411 that would be great if you don't mind sharing, I'm in the north east in Durham. I'm pleased I've been referred, had to push the GP for it though! Was worried because I've had one successful pregnancy between my 3 losses I wouldn't qualify. I think I've had 3 chemical pregnancies too looking back on things, but they aren't on my health records.

Did you test again today?? Got everything crossed for you, I know how hard the two week wait is xx
