This is a bit icky, but wanted to know if i should bother the doctor again as i'm not sure if this is normal or not...

I am about 32 weeks and my normal daily discharge has been very heavy since about 20 weeks. It had been heavier than usual even before i got pregnant and i saw the doctor about it but the test results came back negative for any infection etc.

Recently it has got even worse and means changing underwear or constantly wearing a pantyliner (which is not really enough) and it's just generally making me feel horrible.

Is this a common second pregnancy thing? There's no smell, i have occassional twinges of pain under the bump but i think that's baby kicking me when i need the loo!

Sorry if this is far TMI, just wanted to know if anyone else has suffered with this or if i should get it checked again?

Thanks

I'm afraid I've had exactly the same the whole way through this pregnancy, starting at around the 20 weeks stage (I'm now 39 weeks). I've had to wear a pantyliner constantly although that has been enough to contain it. MWs haven't been concerned and say it's completely normal, providing it's not bloody etc. Just another one of those lovely pregnancy symptoms to put up with!

Yes, mine increased also. Its a PITA but normal - I think of it as preparation for post birth ickiness.

its one of the delightful side effects of pregnancy! i had it with DS and have it again already (am 15+3). i too panicked last time but my MW told me as long as it didnt smell offensive (sorry for TMI) it was fine and normal
