Work and pregnancy, worried of dismissal

Where do I stand:

I’ve been sick horrendously with my pregnancy. I’m 16 weeks.

I’ve been in hospital, I’ve had 3 sick days, I’ve got HG , I’ve had a blood clot, I’ve had migraines. I’ve been 50% of myself at work.

I’ve been able to work from home during all of this as my manager said it’s safer for me to do so ( I’m a personal assistant but have a long commute driving )

I am able to do 100% of my job from home.

However, I feel like I’ve not been up to my usual standards at work due to the sickness.

My manager does seem understanding and said I’m giving my 100% of what I have to give.

But I’ve just got major paranoia, that if I’m not working to my strengths / full capability that they can dismiss me.. even though it’s pregnancy related performance as all of my reviews were positive before pregnancy ( and they’ve not been negative during pregnancy either )

You are very protected in pregnancy and it sounds like your boss is supportive. Stressing is the worst thing you can do. Focus on your health and hopefully you’ll feel better soon

As PP said you are protected due to pregnancy. Work would struggle to dismiss anyone on performance grounds and as you say you are giving 100% and still working with just some reasonable adjustments.

My work have made adjustments for me and I've taken sick days when too ill to work and they are supportive
