Hi. I have recently applied for maternity allowance and got awarded the lowest amount and was told I need to top up my Class 2 NI contributions for this to be topped up. Which I have done (it was under £10 !!)
Has anybody else had the same and were you awarded the full amount once the contributions had been paid? How long did it take for you to hear back?
I definitely can't live off the £27 a month they've originally 'awarded' 😒
