Last week I had a teaspoon of out of date horseradish with my pie ( I didn't realise at the time ) it tasted fine?

I've not had any symptoms since...

Went to have it again today but noticed it said July 2023..

My heart has sunk and I'm worried how it'll effect baby!

Lol it will do nothing, I don’t think I’ve ever eaten an in date condiment pregnant or not.

Allmarbleslost · 26/11/2023 18:05

Of course it won't affect your baby op.

Sirrah · 26/11/2023 18:05

It will have been a best before date, not a use by. You haven't been sick since, so no damage done.

Hiddenvoice · 26/11/2023 18:06

Try not to worry op, you’ll be fine and so will the baby!

Beginningless · 26/11/2023 18:06

100% won’t effect baby. It was a week ago so if you were going to be poisoned, you would be by now! Sorry for being flippant, I know pregnancy makes you worry about everything.

Bax765 · 26/11/2023 18:07

You'll be fine..!

Bleepbloopbluurp · 26/11/2023 18:10

Horseradish lives forever. It'll say "best before" not "use by" anyway. You'll be fine.

PurpleChrayne · 26/11/2023 18:16

Your baby will either be born as a horse or a radish.

PGmicstand · 26/11/2023 18:17

It'll be absolutely fine.

Haha me too. I ate raw chicken last week at a restaurant and was like oops. Condiments are rarely in date in my house.

Because who on earth actually finishes a whole jar inside a few months? Herbs and spices are the same . Ive got ground cloves that are old enough to vote.

Dragonsandcats · 26/11/2023 21:08

it will be absolutely fine I’m sure.

Scalottia · 26/11/2023 21:09

Good lord. It will fine.
