I'm 5 weeks pregnant and have been taking folic acid since before I fell pregnant, are there any other supplements I should be taking?

Highly recommend Zita West, more comprehensive than pregnacare.

If I was pregnant again I would take Proceive instead of Pregnacare. But that's my personal preference as I started taking Proceive Fertility with coq-10 when struggling to fall pregnant and I got pregnant few months later so I trust that brand more than Pregnacare.

Vitamin D 😊

My GP said make sure you’re taking folic acid and vitamin D and suggested I should take a pregnancy multivitamin with both in it. I’ve been taking pregnacare

Thank you!
I can't seem to find pregnacare here. Has anyone used femibion?

I’m taking Wild Nutrition- pregnancy +, 3 tablets every morning. They’re food-grown so all natural, no nasties. Not cheap though x

If you have a healthy diet then nothing.

I am taking Folate (natural form), Omega 3,6 & 9 and Vit D (as I am deficient) I hsve a healthy varied diet..i did the same with DS and all was fine.

My BIL is a OBGYN 25years experience and said the same. Supplements for those who are lacking a good diet. The studies are from 3rd world countries where nutrition is poor so supplements did improve maternal health.
