Does anyone else have fears of a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage

I'm currently 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Its very early and I haven't even missed my period yet. I thought after seeing a positive pregnancy test I'd feel relieved but then the nerves kicked in of having a chemical pregnancy. Apparently theyre common. Does anyone else feel this way?

Yeah I did as I'd had one the cycle before so was convinced it would happen again. I tested every other day until I got a dye stealer then stopper. Currently 15 weeks so far.

Yea, currently 9 weeks 1 day and still fearing the worse at time.

Felt slightly better after 7 week scan (IVF pregnancy so get early scan) as I saw a heartbeat and know the pregnancy was in the right location but still can't help but be worried.

Hi, currently 5+6 and going absolutely mad. Had a bleed as well that scared the hell out of me! IVF pregnancy so I’ve been having early scans for reassurance but I’m not gonna lie I won’t settle till I hear heartbeat at 6+🤞

don’t worry it’s absolutely normal although try to relax(I’ve made my DH so stressed last day and honestly I feel so sorry for him now🤭)

congrats and try to enjoy your pregnancy🫶🏻

I feel the same! I have always had 32 day cycles, last month I think I had a miscarriage and today I am a few days late on my period, yesterday I did a test and it was negative however today I have had a positive one. I feel nausea, dizzy and needing lots of wees and extremely tired. Can anyone tell me if this is a positive test?

crying with joy!!! 😩

Yes I can't let go of this as well. I was planning to start TTC in the new year and this was a slightly early "accident" (although very welcomed) so I'd never even considered what happens after you get the first positive test... But within hours after getting it I started being convinced it was going to happen! Not sure when to feel "out of the woods" - I suppose not for a while yet...

Also what is the dividing line between "chemical pregnancy" and "early miscarriage"? Getting your on-time period?

Yep! I never was like this until my 14 week loss in January. I'm now 20+4 and I'm still worried. Starting to relax a little tiny bit, becoming hopeful but anxious about everything!!

Absolutely! I’m 4 weeks today so a couple of days ahead of you. I felt my positive at 12DPO on Tuesday was quite faint so I’m testing again in the morning and really hoping it’s darker. I’ve had mild cramps/dull aches and some little bits of brown spotting when I wipe so feeling really nervous! I had no cramps or spotting at all with my first so can’t help but compare it to that.
Counting down until I can book an early private scan for a bit of reassurance!

I’m experiencing exactly this!

I had a MMC in august at 12 weeks and it absolutely devastated us.

I’m due Saturday (although my last cycle was shorter so could have been tomorrow) and for some unknown reason I decided to test…it was positive. I’ve since done 5 test that all day pregnant but I’m still early.

having already been down this road I don’t know what to make of it all and am in shock that I’m pregnant again. Or maybe it’s a chemical…!?!

chemical miscarriage?

October I had 2 very weird periods from my normal. Which is normally 5days very heavy but these two were 3/4 days very light.
So last period was 27/10 very light and 4 days…. Fast forward to 6/11 and I noticed very pink discharge which lasted 3 days before it turned to very dark brown, jelly like and bitty and then I experienced tender breasts which prompted me to do a test on 12/11
These were vey positive (crapping it my eldest is 18- youngest 10) went to doctors next day as I was concerned with the discharge which had been going on for a week, drs did a blood test results were 5 weeks pregnant…. I can’t actually workout when I conceived as I had 2 periods in October! Since the blood test the discharge got darker and cramping came then on 17/11 discharge changed to dark red fresh blood. This has been like it ever since so 8days only just slowing down today. Breasts aren’t tender anymore but tests are positive. Has anyone experienced this?
