I have had 2 previous misscarriages where the tests by time my period was due the lines were so dark.

However my period was due 1-2 days ago however the test strips are soo light. I've done 2 clearblue which are pretty dark with the same urine, but for some reason the strips are not getting dark. Starting to panic. I have also done two different strip brands.

What did your tests look like when your period was due/late

Hi I'm currently going through the exact same thing so can't really give some advice but just thought I'd let you know I'm having the same done 4 strip tests all with faint lines and 2 clear blue with more obvious lines also done a clear blue digital that can up pregnant 1-2 weeks meaning that I conceived then, my periods have been a bit irregular since my miscarriage in July but I'm trying to stay positive hoping that I've just tested very early and maybe ovulated later. I hope all goes well for you and everything works out try not to worry to much xxx

The strips can take a good while to get an obvious line on them

Danie221223 · 21/11/2023 20:10

Yeah, just concerning how my previous pregnancies the strips were really dark by now. Hoping I've just ovulated later and that every pregnancy is different

That's great news, same here, wishing u all the best 💖

Anecdote rather than data, but I have had three term pregnancies, one of them twins, and my tests never got any darker than your pictures.

A positive is a positive. Don't stress about the strength of the line.

@Danie221223 not very heavy but my tests have started to look even fainter than before so not sure what's going on, hope everything going ok with you, sorry for jumping on your post xxx

Danie221223 · 28/11/2023 14:42

I will have my whole fingers and toes crossed for you honey! And don't worry about it all is well with me apart from I have a very strange heaviness down there like something is almost stuck or blocked it's very strange. But my early scan is on Friday

Thank you, and good luck with your scan I hope everything goes well for you if there's any comfort I had that same sort of heaviness with my last daughter and all worked out well with her she is now a healthy 7 year old, I thought all sorts even prolapse but it wasn't it turned out that there was a small bleed in the womb but not in the pregnancy sack I did bleed but eventually the bleed had gone on the scan and everything worked out, all the best to you, my midwife is arranging a scan for me too hopefully should hear soon xxx
