Bit confused about aspirin use to avoid pregnant loss

Hi, I've had some early losses and it's been suggested I take aspirin to avoid the same. But looking at advice it says from 12 weeks. I've been taking it this week after getting a positive 4 days ago, as I assumed you needed to take it immediately to attempt to avoid m/c? My previous ones were 5, 7 and 9 weeks. Should I keep taking them or is it not safe until 12 weeks? Thanks

From 12 weeks is to preven pre eclampsia. You can take it before you conceive to help implantation and to prevent miscarriage but it must be low dose.

Ah ok, thank you. Will carry on with the low dose.

It needs to be a super low dose - they call it baby aspirin sometimes. In some areas you need a prescription so if you haven’t already arrange an appointment with your GP. If you have recurrent miscarriages it might be better to take progesterone instead/alongside.
