Travel systems Flipxt2? help

We are due February and I am stuck on what travel system to get.
I can’t really afford the upper end of 700 so something between 600-750 ish would be ideal.

It will be mainly used for normal paths but occasionally more country roads and trials but nothing too off road. Won’t really need it on public transport as can drive.

I really like the mammas and papas xt2 and xt3. The occarro I love but it’s over budget.

Any suggestions or has anyone had the flip xt systems and loved them?

many thanks

Flip xt 2 has been great for us, I’d definitely recommend it. Folds fairly small, not too heavy, and once baby is out of the carrycot and into the pushchair seat, you don’t need to remove the seat to fold it down. We’ve had no issues with any type of terrain. I’d read some negative things about the occarro which is why we went for the xt2 and I’m so glad we didn’t spend the extra! I’m looking forward to using it again for dc2 😊

I have the ocarro- here to tell you we've had all sorts of Ball ache with the ocarro, however when the ocarro was being looked at I was lent the flip x2 from mamas and papas, I'm telling you, I considered telling them to keep the ocarro because the flip was an absolute dream.
It folds easier, it's smaller, it's easier to maneuvere, I just loved it. It was much much easier to put in the car! The ocarro plus carry cot meant I couldn't fit anything else in my 3 series boot, but the flip gave me enough room to fit the chassis, carry cot and a couple of bags of shipping too.

I do love M&P. Check out their black Friday sale, and book in for a consultation with them and order your pram and other bits, they'll take I believe its 10%, you pay the rest just before baby is born, and then they deliver- this also nets you about 10% back in m&p vouchers once your order has arrived if I remember correctly.

The 10% vouchers are in multiples of 10 or similar. We got £140 in vouchers so I got my baby bjorn carrier for free using them and saved several hundred pounds on the ocarro through the BF sale.

Intact, the wheels on the XT 2 at the front are in my opinion better than the wheels on the ocarro. The ocarro ones sort of bend under pressure (high steps from doorways, uneven surfaces) whereas the XT just managed without complaint!

Sorry, I really would recommend the XT. Ocarro is slightly prettier, but in my view, less practical.

And the ocarro does have some known faults, like not folding down properly when you have the cosy toes on. And a strange creak. I had to have mine replaced twice within the first few months of my sons life.

3rd time lucky, no problem.
XT never had a problem in the month or so I had it.
I also have the airo which is fab too.
