ADVICE PLEASE gender experience

Hi everyone. Unfortunately I don't have much to go off. I had my 20 week scan yesterday and baby wasn't playing ball at all. I have to go back in 2/3 weeks time to get the details they needed for the babies heart. (All apparently seems fine but baby was just not in a good position for what they need to see)

I asked for gender if possible to determine. She looked and said she couldn't really tell, then went on to say if she had to say today she would say boy.... however a girls parts can be swollen. She said there wasn't the 3 white lines so I think that's also why she guessed at boy. But do you have to have 3 white lines to be a girl? I'm guessing it's likely a boy I just find it strange she went from not knowing to giving a guess think if prefer it if she said nothing! Haha
Unfortunately no potty shot as she says it's hospital policy. And the picture of baby I have of baby shows nothing of the genital area.
I'm just confused. From what I saw it looked boyish but the screen was quite far away and was up for literally 5 seconds.
Guess I'll find out for sure hopefully in a few weeks. Just wanting to see others experiences.

Yes, for a girl the 3 white lines need to be present, but if the baby wasn't in the right position it can be hard to tell.

You can book a private gender scan if you want, or hope they get a better idea at the next scan.

I though mine was a boy during the scan, thought i saw some testicles, but it was a girl 😅

I wish I had booked a private gender scan weeks ago they are just so expensive but I've probably stupidly spent similar on nub theory. I know nub theory is asuch for fun but because they predicted my last baby boy correctly I thought it would be right this time! I had most girl guesses this time and got my hopes up a little, I'd love another boy of course it's just it's my last so one of each would have been nice.
I had gender pros gender experts and little feet all day girl and the nub the nub techs say boy. Then a mixture really online! I know there's a slight shadow over the 13 week scan picture so that's why I was getting such a mixed response. Think I had started believing it was a girl so for the 20 week scan to go this way I'm just like ahhhh! Haha
I'll wait now til the next scan hopefully only a couple of weeks away fingers crossed they can say for sure. I guess it probably is a boy I won't be holding on to any girl hope now that's for sure lol
