A friend of mines as just been told she has a infection in a vagina (sorry don't know the name of the infection) and her baby will be born poorly. The worst case it could be born with meningitis.

I was hoping someone on here might have had the same experience and could let me know the outcome. I am really worried please share your story with me I want to be able to help my friend the best i can.

I think you mean Strep B, and as long as the mother gets anti-biotics during labour, baby should be fine.

The baby wont be born poorly, as they have found out in time that the mother has it, and it also doesnt mean that the baby will automatically catch it anyway

Hope that helps
