Hi all,
hope everyone is well….I’m currently driving myself insane. I am 7dp5dt and have been told to wait to test until Monday (20th). I have very mixed emotions and thoughts on if I think it’s worked or not…I have a few symptoms but googling sends you over the edge sometimes. I did have sore boobs but they don’t seem as sore now just a little heavy I have cramping and like a pulling sensation in lower abdomen, wild crazy dreams and frequent urination(but could be I’m drinking more) Any advise please my lovely ladies xxx

My advice would be to wait. Ignore all 'symptoms' - they can be caused by the meds, or pregnancy or anything. Whenever I tested early I always wish I'd waited. Sadly for me it was always negative but I wish I'd been able to have that hope a little longer.

Good luck op xx

Mydogisagoodboy · 15/11/2023 23:19

Also if you test early and it's negative it might just be too early to be positive and then you'll have the tortuous wait to see if it changes and the dilemma of whether to stop taking progesterone etc.

Sammymcmart · 15/11/2023 23:32

Yeah I do think waiting is the best idea like you said can just be for all the medication and so sorry to hear that. This is our last chance so hoping out all hope. Xxx

I have just had my BFP after successful IVF! My symptoms were light cramping/twinges down below that were on and off - not painful enough to be period cramps - I also had implantation bleeding on day 8 post blastocyst transfer and I freaked out as I thought I was getting my period (this was due 4 days later). I also noticed I was getting super tired really early in the evenings. I had to wait 11 days post transfer to take a test and it was the longest 11 days of my life. Don't test before - just wait until the day they tell you to, I know its hard, but you will only worry yourself if you get a false negative as you tested too early. Sending lots magic your way and hope you get that positive result 😘

Sammymcmart · 17/11/2023 13:40

Omg congratulations my lovely 😊
I only have to wait a few more days still got a bit of pulling going on down there but seems to have eased off a lot now…I feel nauseated most days and all day hungry is an understatement and sweating on a night as well xx

Thank you! I actually couldn't believe it! Still hasn't sunk in and I am being overly cautious trying to protect the pregnancy now 😬I had conceived before many years ago but miscarried at 6 weeks - I am currently classed as 4 weeks due to the transfer.

All you symptoms sounds positive! I will keep everything crossed for you! It's so hard not to procrastinate every tiny detail, especially going through IVF as we feel it really is our last shot and getting our little miracle! Let us know how you got on, take it easy this weekend and relax xx

Sammymcmart · 17/11/2023 22:28

You take it easy my love as well and relax and yeah I’m the same miscarried at 6 weeks with me second round…it’s hard not to keep checking and being over cautious xx

Does anyone have any tips about not obsessing during the 2 week wait after IVF implantation? I can’t stop worrying about it and it’s only been a day so far.

Mydogisagoodboy · 18/11/2023 12:14

@Greycat44 there is no trick. Keep busy. Cook nice food. Go on some walks. Watch some lovely films. Good luck .

Sammymcmart · 18/11/2023 14:22

As hard as it sounds try and relaxing…trust me easier said than done I know xx

It must be really hard towards the last few days- wishing you lots of luck for your result 🍀🤞

kneehightoacat · 19/11/2023 10:47

Good luck

I've been there. I was desperate for a sign and symptoms. I never had any. I never really had symptoms throughout my pregnancy

I kept touching my breasts to check for tenderness

I did test early and had very feint line about 4/5 days before the official test date

Sammymcmart · 19/11/2023 12:44

Yeah I keep checking my breasts like to see how they feel and always checking my period hasn’t started when on the loo …but one more day ladies and we shall know. At the moment I don’t have any symptoms of anything xx

I feel very down today- I’ve convinced myself it won’t work and I can’t seem to snap out of it. I don’t know if it’s the hormones I’m taking or just a reaction to the process but I feel very weepy. Did anyone else feel like this?

SwordToFlamethrower · 19/11/2023 14:08

I tested early every time. I couldn't bare not knowing. At 7dp5dt you should be able to start seeing a squinter.

Sammymcmart · 19/11/2023 17:02

@Greycat44 oh my lovely it’s really hard isn’t it I’ve convinced myself the same…hard as it sounds try stay positive my love. Sending hugs xx

I have also heard so many people say they got pregnant naturally a few months after IVF, even if it seemed impossible

Tokoro · 07/12/2023 16:20

What happened when you went in? My daughter tested pregnant but her 6 week scan showed that her sac was small and no fetal pole. It’s looks unlikely pregnancy is viable. Has to wait a week to confirm either way but not hopeful
