Hi. Just looking to see if anyone has been through similar - Thursday positive pregnancy test, I had been bleeding on and off & had a lot of pain for a week prior, pain worse on Friday called EPU went in & was seen straight away. Scanned and they saw fluid on left hand side & in pelvis, long story short I was rushed to emergency theatre. No ectopic was found however all the fluid was drained. Had pretty much accepted that I had lost this baby & nearly a week later still a pregnancy of unknown location. Have to keep going back in for bloods & scans every couple of days & they have now found 2 more cysts on the opposite side which I’m praying don’t rupture as I don’t feel like I can handle another surgery. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Have you had a pregnancy since? I’m feeling pretty anxious and traumatised as my body is still showing as very much pregnant on the blood tests.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Not exactly the same, but I had an ectopic back in 2020 which was not diagnosed until a month after I'd started bleeding and accepted I'd lost the pregnancy.
I won't sugar coat it, it took a really long time for my blood tests to return to normal. It's so draining and different to a miscarriage where it's just "over". You can't move on and it's hard. You will get there, it just takes time 💐

@neverwakeasleepingbaby thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I don’t know anyone who has experienced something similar which is making me feel worse. But I do know people are out there. If you don’t mind me asking, have you had a pregnancy since?

@Friedseasalt yes I have. I have a two year old son, and I'm currently up with my non-sleeping newborn!
Hang in there 💐
