Hi so I’m 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant , I had a miscarriage 10 months ago so I’m really worried and very anxious , so I’ve started to notice when I wipe that I have brown discharge sort of bleeding only when I wipe & slight cramps nothing major just period cramps , does anyone have any stories like mine and had a healthy pregnancy I’m worried that I could be miscarrying again as my recent one was a missed miscarriage
TW I added a picture just to show the colour of it sorry for the TMI

I've been having this on and off from 6 weeks, now 8 weeks. Had 2 scans in that time and all is fine.

EPU may see you due to previous miscarriages but it's usually when pinky or red bleeding. Each area is a little different

Bluenigellas · 15/11/2023 21:58

I had that. I’m 18 weeks now but also majorly stressed out when it happened due to previous miscarriages. If you speak to your EPU they may see you for a scan, mine did and they also prescribed progesterone as this can help the pregnancy ‘stick’ . I was on progesterone until 16 weeks and touch wood all is going ok!

It’s so nerve wracking and stressful especially after such a Recent loss aswell , I already have a little one I don’t think I ever got that when I was pregnant with him

thank you so much for replying 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hi

I had this at 6 weeks with my first pregnancy, exactly same as pic, Dr told me to go home, rest and be prepared. I had bad period cramps too so was sure I was having a m/c

My 18 year old son is now sat upstairs, healthy as a horse.

After a few days of wipes like that I had a completly standard pregnancy.

Kaysh · 15/11/2023 22:16

The cramps are what’s convincing me that something is wrong , but it can’t be helped but for the mind to run wild , pregnancy is hard anyway but even harder after you have had. M/c
thank you 🫶🏼

I defintely had this, almost exactly the same time 6.5 weeks, it then turned light pink and disappeared. I had a long pregnancy and healthy baby. Your mucus plug forms around 6-7 weeks pregnant so I always blamed that. Sending good luck vibes and hope it’s the same for you

Hiddenvoice · 15/11/2023 23:06

I had this at 5 weeks and again at 8 weeks. I phoned Epu who were lovely! I had a scan at 6 weeks and at 8 weeks which showed a healthy heartbeat! I’m now 21 weeks.

I also had cramping, very much like period cramps but not strong enough to need to take paracetamol.

You could phone Epu and see what they say!

It is totally normal to get a bit of bleeding around the time your period is due.

babyk1987 · 15/11/2023 23:17

I had this at 6 weeks brown/pink only when wiping but bad cramps had a scan the next day and baby was fine I'm now 28 weeks later scans explained I had a cyst that had burst! The pain and bleeding lasted 2 weeks on and off so was still very anxious! I really hope it's a positive outcome for you, thinking of you x
