Feel like I’m taking the p a bit but I called in sick to work today due to a combination of back/hip pain and sheer exhaustion.

My cmw has already requested bloods (FBC, folate, b12 and ferritin) which I am having taken today but just wondering if anyone else has felt like this in second trimester.

Everything I read suggests that I should be feeling great at the moment but that is definitely not the case 😂

I never got the great part from my second trimester. The odd few people dont.

In fact for me I feel like I got the extreme tiredness in my first trimester and I've been perpetually tired since.. my baby is 14months 😂🙃

Hey, don’t feel bad. You need to listen to your body. Some days you’ll feel better than others…

I work from home full time but couldn’t sleep at all Sunday night so Monday morning I asked manager to cancel all meetings as I was so tired / exhausted! I still worked but just on the sofa with my laptop for the afternoon. I’m lucky to have a very good employer ❤️

I’m also 23 weeks today xx

I'm 19 weeks. Been slightly better than first trimester but still knackered all the time. My iron at 8 weeks was fine, but my platelets were borderline - I've put fatigue down to working FT and having a 2 yo DC.

I'm resigned to being tired for the next 3 years I think 😂
