Hi.

Planned to go to a musical this weekend. I should be around 35w. There are some posts on the internet that it might hurt baby because of load noise. Most of them say it's OK though.

Should I worry in any way? What do you think?

Thanks

I wouldn't worry in the slightest. The noise would have to be prolonged, and extremely, uncomfortably loud for you to come close to damaging baby. There's still lots of fluid, and layers of you insulating and protecting baby. The most baby will hear of your musical is maybe some muffled singing.

I went to a heavy metal gig when I was 14 weeks pregnant. No harm done whatsoever to baby, she is now 6. I wouldn't think twice about going yo a musical.

I went to a gig at 16 weeks and 24 weeks - they’re well protected in there don’t worry xx
