help 3 vaginal scans and empty gest sac 18mm (6-8wks) !

help i have been searching the internet looking for someone who went through what i'm going through and this site is helpful but would be gud to get soe replies and opinions about what you guys think !
I am 8 weeks according to LMP but onlu 6 weeks according to last scan which was yesterday ( monday ) and they still can't see anything in the sac but the scanner said that the sac was right at the top of my womb and could'nt see clearly with the internal scan .
should she still be able to see something on the abdominal scan ?
i had a scan 2 weeks ago because of a bleed after sex and yesterday was my 3rd follow up scan as each time they can see nothing but the sac is growing (was 8mm 2 weeks ago and 18mm yesterday )
has / is anyone going through the same thing ? i'm sorry this is long but i'm getting so upset a d&c was mentioned if next scan still shows nothing ( tues 18th march )

i can't help much sorry, but there was a few people replying to a post like this last week that had been in similar circumstances. Lets hope you'll hear from them. One lady though had been given blood tests to monitor the level of pregnancy hormones in her body, you could always ask your doctor about that. It is all very ealy at that time and my friends scan didn't show up at 6 weeks, but at next visit, at 8 weeks all was fine and she thought she might be further on that the scan said. i HAD A SCAN AT 5+5 i thoguht I was 8 weeks, and there was an empty sac, they said I would probably misscarry, but to come back for another scan in a week,

went back and a lil heartbeating baby was there. Hes 3 now

Have they checked the levels of pregnancy hormone in your blood - as far as I know this is supposed to increase as pregnancy progresses so if that is the case then something is happening - if they are falling off then it may be bad news.

I started bleeding at 10 weeks and internal scan showed a pregnancy sac that looked as if it had stopped developing at around 6 weeks. They said I should come back in 2 weeks to see if it had changed and said it was possible that I'd got my dates wrong but I started bleeding heavily within a couple of days.

I hope you get some answers soon, I'm not surprised that you're upset, fingers crossed that you aren't for long

they hav'nt taken any blood yet but they did do a urine test because i had pain in my side and back and they say was due to a water infection so i'm on anti biotics now too great to hear from disenchanted i really really really hope i go back next week and see my baby as we've ttc for a year to get pregnant this time
