12 week pregnancy ‘period pain’ cramps

I’m 12 wks 3 days pregnant. We had our 12weeks scan 3 days ago and everything was great.
Yesterday evening I started experiencing lower abdominal cramping and nausea, and it lasted throughout the night (woke me up) and today it has got worse as the day has gone. I have had mild cramping and nausea throughout, but the cramping today feels stronger and like period cramps. It’s stronger than I’ve had to date.
I’ve experienced 2 miscarriages before. And I’m really scared and worried about the cramping. I am planning to go to the walk in maternity ward to get checked in the morning.
Has anyone experienced period cramps like this that just won’t go?

I'd go to the nearest Early Pregnancy Unit tonight if you can OP. If you are in pain and anxious overnight you won't sleep anyway so you lose nothing from going relatively late in the evening. Good luck x

I went for a scan and everything is ok 💜 I’m so so so relieved. Also exhausted. The symptoms are very confusing sometimes.

@Colourfulflowers it was likely the uterus moving up out the pelvis. I had the same around the same time.

Cramping without bleeding is usually nothing to worry about. glad all is well.
