Is there a nasal bone present?

Hiya.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and had a scan... I'm panicking that there is no 'nasal' bone present.. I can see the nose tip but I know the nasal bone is different.. can someone tell me if it's there?

You couldn’t really see the nose on my 12 week scan but I’ve had multiple scans since including a 4d scan and it’s very much there so don’t worry about it- they’re so small at the first scan it can be hard to make things out xx

who did your scan? They’d tell you if there’s something to worry about. But you can see it very clealry in the 3rd pic xx

If the person scanning had any concerns about anything they saw, they would definitely have told you and referred you for more tests/scans, so if they didn't seem concerned and they even printed this photo for you, wouldn't worry. I know easier said than done as everything in pregnancy is just so worrying.

Is a nasal bone present in this scan does anybody know?
