6 weeks pregnant after 2 miscarriages. Had a tiny bleed on Friday, got checked over at hospital and everything was okay, we have a scan booked for Tuesday. Felt okay last night but today woke up feeling awful, my whole stomach hurt like I had done hard-core ab workout. My back is killing me, sore from mid back through to my bum and now I have nausea and pretty sure I'm going to throw up.

No more bleeding but just feel awful. Not sure what to do. Has anyone experienced this before?

With my first pregnancy I had really uncomfortable cramps but not bad enough for me to take paracetamol.
I was in excruciating pain from my tail bone though and found it really painful to walk etc. I phoned triage/ Epu for support and advice, mainly just to check if it’s normal.

If you’re in pain and it’s getting worse then might be worth a phone call to your midwife / Epu to get checked over again.

what you've described about waking up whole stomach hurting and hard to sit down, I've had this now three occasions (current 7 weeks 5 days) and when I looked at the food I'd ate the evening before turned out it was greasy food 2 evenings and a fresh fruit platter 1 of the evenings. My stomach just couldn't handle them, metabolism and digestive is slowed down due to the progrestone being produced. I'm struggling with gas and bloating so bad that when it happens there's pain in my thighs and right up in my ribcage but it's not heartburn. If this sounds similar I would defo try some stretches and now I suck a foxes glacier mints before bed, someone else recommended it when I asked about bloating and so far been waking up feeling much better

Thank you. I was sick in the end and felt a lot better. Both times this has happened I've had greasy food at a restaurant and its the only time I've had diet coke. But god knows. Taken the day off work today and I'm not going to do anything, just relax!

Yea I think that's a good shout, maybe get some ginger biscuits and other basic things in like crackers/plain crisps/mini soreen and also try smaller meals more often. I've cut out all the crap snacks I would eat between meals and on the sofa on an evening before like chocolate bars/ cake because worried about the sugar and actually feel repulsed by the look and smell of it and then when I am getting to eat and feel well enough to I'm still eating a full on meal so think that's then causing tummy /digestion issues rather than a steady flow.

On days when I've spread stuff out I seems to be much better the following day but also on the night. Some night Ives been up hours in agony from the bloating and feel shattered for it the next day.

I know you hear about morning sickness and I defo don't wanna be throwing up as I hate that feeling but it has surprised me just how rough I feel in myself, lack of energy/motivation/food aversion so early on.

Hope you find something that works for you.
