Hello, im currently 4+5 weeks pregnant. We used ivf to achieve pregnancy and a few days following that I did experience
quite a few symptoms ..tiredness, bloating , vivid dreams, weird sensations and just a general overall strange feeling. For the past 3 days all my symptoms have disappeared. I'm find this concerning. I've suddenly got lots of energy , not bloated and none of the other symptoms. I'm worried could this signal that something has happened? I've already had a prior miscarriage at 4 weeks

Hi, I had IVF and currently pregnant. My aches and sicky /feeling hungry symptoms kicked in around 3 and half weeks which is what made me think it had worked before even taking a test. For about a week or so after getting to positive at 4 weeks I didn't have a single symptom. I think due to extra meds from fertility clinic and then your body producing it there must be a surge which then your body adapts to until they are much higher again and the symptoms kick in. Also think we have the most sensitive radar for sensation's.

Haven't had a miscarriage to know anything related but usually it's pain and bleeding and too early for an eptopic to be diagnosed. Your clinic likely won't scan you till 6-7 weeks anyway and that's to check for placement and a heartbeat

Good luck x

I didn't have any symptoms at 4 weeks. They didn't really kick in until 6 weeks.

Thanks girls. I guess I'm just concerned because I've been having intense cramping. I've read they shouldn't be anything more than mild. I've had these the past week tho and I'm still testing positive so I suppose the cramping combined with lack or tiredness really is worrying me. I've got a blood test but not until later this week

I have had cramps since week 4 on and off, sometimes intense, others woke up with that heavy lower tummy cramp certain my period had arrived and walking to the bathroom slowly with worry and nothing there. One of the days I couldn't sit down for 3 hours and the only thing that helped was standing and sway side to side. You can take paracetamol for pain btw.

Cramping can be things stretching and your ligaments adjusting, seems mad that it happens so early in pregnancy but my GP that I saw earlier in the week said it's common. Also progrestone slows down gut and bowel movements so there can be discomfort from there that will feel present in your stomach.

Honestly feel like I've aged 30 years in the last few weeks, I even make an old person moan when I get up off the sofa or bed. Defo didn't expect this till I was very round and ready to give birth.

Any update? Has your pregnancy been successful?

Hello, I'm currently in the exact situation you were in when you wrote your message. Please would you let me know what happened? I know everyone is different but I'm going out of my mind this week. I had symptoms but they're disappearing...
