Hello everyone. Just wanting a little questionnaire.
What cravings did you have at 10 weeks and what did you find out when it was time for the gender scan?

I'm 10 weeks+1 I'm throwing up everyday so I can't actually eat them but what I crave so bad for is fruit. Oranges strawberries grapes and banana. And orange juice! sweets&chocolate are a total put off for me. When I feel sick and I know I have to eat I'll suck a orange , I was very savory type of girl with my son, my partners only had boys im definitely feeling it's a boy. What's your intakes?

I really dont think you can tell from cravings although some people said I was having a girl (from hair, face and level of sickness) and it is!
Anyway I craved childhood comfort food that I hadn’t been near in years, like coca cola, ginger beer, ice cream, biscuits , sweets and sweet fruits like mango, pomegranate but the exact craving kept changing every week of first trimester, mainly because puking up something really puts you off it. I still hate broccoli which I’d always loved!

LBF2020 · 12/11/2023 13:43

Congratulations!
I craved iced lattes and ice cold water. Went off fizzy drinks and hot drinks. Wanted lots of fruit and I completely went of chocolate. I ate sweets which isn't usually my thing either.
Had a boy.

Discwriter · 12/11/2023 13:46

Lots of salty stuff, completely off sweet stuff, my skin looked amazing, had boys.

Haydug · 12/11/2023 13:48

I had no cravings, no sickness. My pregnancy was really easy. I didn't really feel very pregnant at any stage - apart from when I grew the obvious bump and he started to kick.
I had a boy!

shellybon · 12/11/2023 13:51

I was the same as you op and I am having a girl🥰I still love all the fruit now but my love for sweets and choc came back about week 20

TheMumLife3 · 12/11/2023 13:52

I've got 4 children - 3 boys and 1 girl. On all the boys I craved Rennies the antacid and very salty foods. On my girl, craved absolutely nothing at all

Coffeerum · 12/11/2023 15:05

I’ve had a boy and a girl and no real differences in terms of being sick, things I did want to eat or aversions.

fourelementary · 12/11/2023 15:08

Full fat milk, full fat coke- boy
Ice, calippo ice lollies- girls
Mandarin pots in juice- very cold from fridge- and vimto diluting juice- boy

more sick each pregnancy

TheBeesKnee · 12/11/2023 15:09

Sugar and I had a boy. But tbh it was probably the gestational diabetes making me crave sugar 🙃

Cheepcheepcheep · 12/11/2023 15:09

With DD I craved chocolate which was really strange as I usually can’t stand the stuff! Had an aversion to meat - couldn’t stand chicken for ages.

DS I had no particular cravings or aversions but was just permanently starving!

rahrsh · 12/11/2023 15:37

Oh wow this is brilliant to read! , with my dd I craved prawn cocktail crisps and ASDA turkey roll sandwiches lol!

My boy I craved jerk chicken and and full meals no sickness with both.

This baby I'm sick everyday diagnosed with HG so food right now is not on the list but when I do finally get to eat it's ready salted crisps and fruit! Gone off a cup of tea which is no amply what I have a lot but loving latte right now! This pregnancy by far the worst had 2 teeth fall out and sick everyday. Hoping it will pass!

I drank gravy from a mug! It did change and at 8 months it was Lindt chocolate rabbits 🤣. Had a girl.

DramaAlpaca · 12/11/2023 15:51

I got more sick with each pregnancy as in it started earlier each time. I didn't have any cravings in particular. The third (last) one was a bit different as I completely went off tea, but it was a boy just like my first two pregnancies.

happyasaseagullstealingchips · 12/11/2023 15:56

Apple Creams and Porky Pear Lollies 💕

I was very sick. I know the exact day I conceived that month as my husband had been away. Six days later the sickness began and lasted till after my son was born.

bakewellbride · 12/11/2023 15:57

I've had one of each and my cravings were the same, there's no link between cravings and sex (not gender).

Aria20 · 12/11/2023 16:04

Both boys - pickled beetroot, raspberries and strawberries. No sickness. Good skin and hair.
Girl - salt and vinegar Pringles, fizzy sweets! Greasy hair and skin. Awful sickness - couldn't eat any meat until about 24 weeks and only ate really plain food like plain boiled rice, plain pasta/noodles - daughter didn't eat meat until she was 3 and still likes very plain foods at age 6!

Nov07 · 12/11/2023 16:32

DD1 - fruit, orange juice.
DD2 - lucozade with ice, chips amd mayo, chips and curry sauce from the Chinese, caramel nibbles.
DS - milk, steak.

No morning sickness on any of them.

Dinnerdate1 · 12/11/2023 18:54

Coke of the tap in McDonald's and bbq sauce-Girl
Harpic toilet cleaner and flash would sniff it constantly-Boy
Same again-Boy
Disinfectant and Toblerone. Was taking dettol baths in the end- girl
This one I'm only 7 weeks and have HG again and seem to of gone of everything. I love tea but if I drink it, it's straight out.
Also found the sickness is worse in each pregnancy too.

Pluckingoutofthinair · 12/11/2023 18:58

Ds salty things (especially olives) and potatoes.
Dt (boy/girl) were carbohydrates.
I was sick throughout both pregnancies, and as well as cravings I had lots of things I couldn't eat (and some I still can't 20 years later).

caringcarer · 12/11/2023 19:00

Female - fish
Male - ice lollies (hot summer)

RedCoffeeCup · 12/11/2023 19:01

Chicken mayo - boy

jays · 12/11/2023 19:06

I craved steak, after the first 12 weeks of throwing up, steak, I was obsessed with it, i embarrassingly cried about it at one point because I couldn’t get home from work fast enough to have some, I had a boy. My mum craved Jaffa Cakes and corned beef (not together) and she had me! So who knows 😂

DiaNaranja · 12/11/2023 19:35

French fancies, Guylian chocolate seashells, and blocks of parmesan cheese... Like the stuff for grating, I'd just sit there chewing on the whole block. Both times, both girls. I remember going downstairs at 2am one night when pregnant with dd1, eating two whole packs of french fancies and wondering why they made them so small, as I always NEEDED to eat at least one whole box. I don't actually really like them, find them so overly sweet, and can only stomach one at a push now, how on earth I'd easily eat 6 (and occasionally 12 🤣) in one go I'll never know.

chubbybear1 · 12/11/2023 19:37

Girls no cravings

FirstMondayInMay · 12/11/2023 19:56
