12 week screening test results

Hi everyone,

We’ve just had our 12 week screening results for all 3 syndromes - each came back as low risk of 1:5000. I’ve seen somewhere that trusts are starting to standardise results, does anyone have any info on this / knows their trust does this? My friend had her results from a different trust and it was so specific!

Thank you 😊

Following as interested. Been looking into the results recently as my son was something insane like 1 in 100,000 back in 2017 and my current baby is 1 in 2300 and 1 in 5000. Still low risk but wondering if they changed the system at any point! My sister's results are very similar to mine now also

I had my results back today, both are 1:5000.
My previous pregnancies were more specific so I'm thinking this must be a trust change.

It must’ve been a fairly recent change, I had my results come back beginning of May (due any day now) and I had very specific results as others have said

I contacted my hospital as was interested and the lab the blood tests mine were carried out in use standardised results, with 1:5000 being the lowest risk score. Might be worth contacting yours if you’re interested, does sound like lots of trusts are moving to this standardised way though! Hope everyone’s well 😊
