Anyone else on the last leg being crippled by insomnia? I wake up to go to the loo and then can’t fall asleep 😩. I end up waiting a couple of hours and then relent and give into my kindle or ipad.

Yup, 38 weeks and not managed more then a few hours sleep each night for weeks now. Also spending the majority of those nights on the sofa as DP sleeping soundly and snoring his head off is extra irritating. Got horrid restless legs too... urgh

Yes, me! 39+1 and been like it for weeks now. Wake up at 3.30 like clockwork. I'm being induced Tues so now that is playing on my mind

I'll join in - 36 weeks and been wide awake for about 2 hours. I think it's how our bodies prepare us for the newborn days, however I'd rather have the ability to stockpile sleep instead.

You have my sympathies… I had this throughout my whole pregnancy and now on the other side of it with an 8 week old. As soon as baby is born this went away. Now, any chance for sleep leads to that kind of deep, delicious sleep where you’re so knackered you don’t even dream!

Yep me! I'm only managing about 4 hours sleep max. Not even sure why I wake up, I don't need the loo or anything. Weird

Stockpiling sleep! Now that would be amazing!

Hopefully baby should be here this week and then full on exhausted!

Yes as of 26 weeks. I haven't had more than a few hours sleep a night for weeks 🫠

Yes me. So badly. Only 6 weeks pregnant and my insomnia is the worst it's ever been. But I'm full of energy in the day. Doesn't seem to affect it.

I've always had problems staying asleep but now it's crazy. Doesnt matter what time I go to bed, 3 or 4 hours later I'm wide awake. Then, before checking the time I feel like I've had a full night's sleep. Its very strange.

I'd like to know if there is something I can do. Before being pregnant when id have a week of bad sleep id take a high dose of night nurse and sleep like a log to make up for it. Definitely not going to do that now. But worried my lack of sleep will also have negative affects on the baby.
