Hi all

I had a miscarriage in September after an early scan revealed that the embryos had stopped growing at around 6.5 weeks.

I'm now pregnant again and at 5+4, and have zero symptoms. I started off at 4 weeks with headaches and reflux but now absolutely nothing. I'd have expected breast tenderness by now based on previous pregnancy experience.

Anyone been in a similar position re symptoms and everything been fine? I'm wondering about asking for an extra early scan next at my EPU to reassure myself but don't know if that's something they'd do if no real reason for it.

Panicking! 😩

I think it depends on the EPU. I had a missed miscarriage in October (baby stopped developing at 5 +5) and after the management, EPU told me they can offer me an early scan if I get pregnant again, due to this miscarriage. So I’d just ring them and ask, but it might be worth waiting until you’re 6+ weeks. Good luck, I hope it all works out well for you!

FWIW at 5 weeks ish, I remember wishing for symptoms.

Within another week I felt permanently hungover and felt that way for the next 4 months, and also was signed off for 2 weeks as I was so nauseous.

It's still so early, all pregnancies are different, and I hope this one is successful for you - just know you may not experience symptoms just yet xx

I’m almost 21 weeks pregnant and have hardly experienced any symptoms from the start. Even now, I feel absolutely fine and could forget I was pregnant.
Everyone experiences different symptoms, try not to compare yourself to others. Like you, I panicked constantly due to lack of symptoms, even now I have stressed out days worrying about it.
Good luck, I hope you get your happy ending x

Same as above, I am almost 12 weeks and have had pretty much zero symptoms and forget I’m even pregnant, I feel completely normal

Thanks ladies, it's reassuring to hear other stories of zero symptoms!

@Cinai I'm sorry for your recent loss, I hope you are ok.

I didn’t have any symptoms until about 8 weeks. Some people don’t get any at all. It’s all normal.

I’m 10 weeks and have nothing, if anything feel better than what I usually do! Please try not to worry x

I think it's so variable, first pregnancy no real symptoms until week 7. Second pregnancy they started at about 5.5/6 weeks xx
