Ginger?

In previous pregnancies, ginger has helped with morning sickness. However I’ve since seen a few articles about ginger suggesting that it can cause miscarriage. I’m already high risk and concerned about having ginger.
“But pregnant women should be careful with ginger. Some experts worry that it could raise the risk of miscarriage” Some articles I’ve read say to avoid ginger if you have a history of miscarriage.
has anyone been told this? I don’t have a midwife to ask yet!

I'd just trust the NHS if I were you. Have just had a look at their foods to avoid and ginger isn't listed.
The articles you're seeing might just be clickbait written by people with no scientific understanding (or AI!) based on unreliable studies.

Ginger biscuits were always recommended for morning sickness back in the day.

There are articles on the Web claiming pretty much anything can cause miscarriage "according to some experts". Unless they cite the NHS or a peer-reviewed study I would ignore.

Ginger is known to help with nausea and digestion, I had loads of it in 1st trimester and I'm now 28 weeks.

If you look hard enough on google the symptoms of pregnancy mean you have cancer.

Ginger is fine in pregnancy
