I know I’m a worrier and post a lot on here about worries. I spoke to my GP today and I have a referral for help.
I’m six weeks and was painting my daughters nails. She asked me to smell it as they are scented nail varnish. So I did. I got a strong smell of chemicals when I sniffed it and no scent as such. Im worried now that I could cause a miscarriage by breathing this in like this. My DH told me to stop being silly as they are kids scented nail varnishes but the chemical smell was so strong when she first unscrewed it that Im worried.

Try and take a step back and take a breath. You aren't going to have done anything simply by once smelling kid friendly nail polish. Lots of people are exposed to lots of chemicals on a daily basis and go on to have perfectly healthy babies. Try and distract yourself and move on with your day.

You know this is silly. You couldn't even cause a miscarriage by huffing nail varnish remover every hour of every day.
They put far less chemicals in kids nail varnish anyway.. you could even eat that and it wouldn't do you too much harm!
You just do your best to keep rooms well ventilated and not spray cleaning products in your face etc.. you do not need to worry about chemicals to the extent you are doing with this nail varnish.
This is just your anxiety. Absolutely no harm will come to your baby due to this kids nail varnish
