Gah where do I start

so I am in a new relationship he has kids I don’t… was told due to how severe my PCOS it would be incredibly difficult for me to catch and if I have it’s never gone very far so I made peace that I may never be a mom!

given the fact for the last 10 years I have not caught once we were both abit lapse and didn’t use protection now I know he’s working as he has kids 🙈 but my previous partners don’t have kids and still don’t so thinking about it I may never have been that much of the issue

I have been getting what I think are positive tests on clear blue and first response but negative on cheaper tests

based on last bleed (12th Oct) as I never know when I will have a period thanks to the PCOS I would be 3 weeks pregnant but I have no idea if these tests are true as I’m not testing positive on any other tests just faint positives on hcg strips. If I was to have a normal period I wouldn’t be late yet either.

im booked with midwife but not till 27th November gahhhhhh

can anyone offer any advice or what they think about the testing situation

ive attached my tests and my tests seem to work better in the eve as I have a tilted bladder so can’t empty my bladder fully all the time so any hcg may be diluted but even tho some look lighter the lines are there and quite prominent I just can’t get it well on camera

thanks 😘😘😘

I should also add I have done digitals and one negative and the other I broke took them apart and 2 lines on the strip so god knows

There’s always two lines on the digitals, that’s why you’re not supposed to take them apart.

If I were you I’d book in to have your hCG bloods done at the GPs. That should make things clearer.

Every single one of them looks positive to me.
seems unlike you’d have so many false positives, especially different brands.

Emj8277 · 06/11/2023 17:09

Yeahhh I did that and they referred me to midwife so I guess just a waiting game . Yeah I know your not supposed to take them apart I was just curious x

i think because I’m testing negative on digitals and cheap tests it’s confusing the hell outta me … I told midwife and she wasn’t too worried by that .. just gonna have to wait but the temptation to test is ridiculous 😭😭

They’re not all as sensitive as each other though, so if you’re only just pregnant, you won’t test positive on something that needs more of the hormone

aren’t those two strip tests in the second photo just cheap ones? They are positive.

Ttcmumma · 06/11/2023 20:57

They're all positive, you're likely too early to test positive on a digital yet they aren't as sensitive x

Emj8277 · 06/11/2023 21:14

They are the only cheap ones I have tested positive on …. Only the strips .. other stick tests so to speak all negative .. this is all very new to me as haven’t been in this position for a very long time.. and then I hear conflicting info from people iv confided in which then makes it 100% worse .. thank you though as I don’t feel like I’m seeing things xx
