How accurate are the clear blue digital tests? It says that if you get a 2-3 means you are 4-5 weeks pregnant? But I'm pretty sure I am further than that? Can someone help

I hate these tests. How far along so you think you are? When did your last period start?
Read the leaflet that came with the test. They're something wild like 85-90% accurate for the weeks from conception. And the variation in HCG levels needed for 3+ on the test is huge and some people don't get it a)ever or b) until 6weeks+.

Basically, you're pregnant (congratulations! 😊) But try not to worry too much about the weeks not being accurate.

My weeks were always showing behind but blood tests were correct, so I don't trust the clearblue at all. Wish I never bought them. I now have a 12 day old baby.

I thought I was 7 weeks, my first day was 16th September! X

These tests always confused me. It wasn't accurate for me either.

I've seen alot of posts that said about it never going on 3+

These might help (found them today as I was obsessing over HCG levels and when to use a digital test 😅) - a bit confusing, but I think it makes sense to me now!

The other thing to note is that blood tests will detect higher levels of HCG than urine tests - therefore if you're having bloods that may explain the discrepancy.

Having the exact same issue. Think I should be 6 weeks today (though bit confused about dates as my last cycle was a chemical) and clear blue still showing 2-3 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️

comforting to hear that I’m not alone!

It's so confusing isn't it I am going to test in a week or so and see if it goes up, if you are 6 weeks tho it might mean you are right in the middle so it should change to 3+ soon! Is this your first too?

Mine never went to 3+, now 22 weeks. Personally I wouldn't use them again, lots of unnecessary stress, though I'm sure it's lovely seeing 3+ when they do work!

Do twins run in the family...? Or you were on the high side of 1-2 when you took your first one and your HCG has increased pretty quickly.
