Bleeding at 16 weeks, please could anyone share some positive stories?!

Hi, so I started lightly bleeding on Friday. Went to get checked, cervix closed and looked fine, they thi k it's coming from higher up? Heard heartbeat. It stayed the same yesterday, like a pink/brown discharge. This morning I woke up to fresh red bleeding and a small clot. Came back in, they found heartbeat again. Did checks, all looks the same just a lot more blood. They've admitted me to a ward to stay in overnight! I'm terrified to say the least. Never had any of this in previous pregnancies. They can't tell me how it's going to go either way. Has anyone else had anything like this? I'm 16 +5 today

Hi again, I just want to express my thanks for this post. It's truly what has helped me get through the past couple of weeks. Since my original post I've been back in hospital numerous times and I'm here again now thanks to a particularly heavy bleed with clots. Still, everything appears fine and they can't explain it. So looks like it's the same as you had. Because of your story I've managed to stay a lot calmer so just want to say thankyou and to all the other posts on here, just goes to show this can happen and things can still turn out fine!

Congratulations on finding out you’re having a little girl. Thankyou! It really is the worst all the worrying and the unknown. The bleeding has stopped again and they have me on antibiotics now as I've been leaking amniotic fluid unfortunately. They did a scan on Friday and the fluid is very low so I have an appointment with the fetal medicine doctor tomorrow to look at it more in depth. I'm just praying it's not the worst outcome 🤞thanks again x

I was reading through your old posts... getting hopeful all was going well for you...now I saw your update 💔
So sorry for your loss..how are you coping? How's your health?
I've had a stillborn baby boy 2 yrs ago and it's the hardest thing to go through...but you do get through it OP it gets easier I promise.

I had my boy Adam at fullterm he lost his little heart beat few days before his due date 💔
I think the first year will always be the hardest...I had kept everything I had bought for him and only got to part with it a couple of months ago, before I couldn't bring myself to see it and go through it all ...but when I was ready it was easier....
Look after yourself and surround yourself with good supportive people... remember not everyone will understand your pain...and that's ok because they have not been through it....but as long they hold your hand during the difficult times it's enough.
Friday will no doubt be the toughest day for you...the lightest coffins are the heaviest 💔
I pray God gives you ease and comfort through it all 🙏🏻❤️

I'm hoping Friday goes ok, I don't want to be a big sobbing mess, I want to be able to honor her properly. I'm going to get a ring with her ashes in in memory of her so I always have a piece of her with me ❤️ xx
