Vivid dream of twin pregnancy

So I’m almost 10 weeks pregnant. Have my first early scan next week for NIPT tests.
last night I had the most vivid dream that I was at my scan and the sonography’s put the thing on my belly, her face lit up and she instantly said “oh this is exciting” turned the screen to me and there were two babies, clear as day!
I’ve literally not been able to sleep properly the rest of the night, I feel so freaked out and panicked that maybe I’ve had some kind of premonition.
sounds so OTT I know, but I just can’t have twins. Third pregnancy and we were very on the fence about whether to even try to add one more. Honestly I’m so stressed at the thought I could cry!!
twin mums, are dreams a thing? A sign that your body is trying to give you?

I wouldn't read into it too much. I have had several dreams where I birthed an alien. Vivid dreams are common during pregnancy

Congratulations. I am pregnant with twins and didn't dream I was having two. Perhaps it's your subconscious hesitation about having another child imagining the "worst case scenario" for your situation (a fear-based dream).

I dreamt I was having a boy (its a girl!), and also that I left him under the bed and forgot to feed him.

They are most likely anxiety dreams, like when you dream you forgot your passport before going on a trip.

Doesnt mean you are having twins. Just that you are worried about your pregnancy!

Oh god I used to have so many dreams both whilst I was pregnant and afterwards that I had given birth and just left him in the house and forgot to feed him!

Yup!! They are recurring for me! Like I would go somewhere and forget the baby and then it would have been 3 days and I had forgot to feed him! Horrible! But just dreams!

I had them more BEFORE I got pregnant. Since then it has only happened once or twice!

Yep! I dreamt I was having twins and I found out last week that I am. I have always had a bit of a sixth sense though. It could be that you are or like pp's have said it's a worried dream! Good luck either way 😊

I dreamed about triplets recently, my husband had a vasectomy and I have secondary infertility so vanishingly
